Leo — self-expandable braided stent
LEO was the first nitinol self-expandable braided intracranial stent available. With 20 years presence and worldwide use, mostly in the indication of stent assisted coiling procedure of wide neck aneurysms, Leo has proven its reliability and effectiveness.
Product Info
High radial force, good radio-opacity thanks to 2 helical longitudinal markers, low profile enabling delivery through .017” microcatheter, high conformability and wall apposition, repositionable up to 90% deployed, easiness to deliver and flared ends to prevent the fish mouth effect are the main features of this unique implantable device.
Its braided design has a major impact on flow diversion and has proven a significantly lower recanalization rate than laser cut stents.
LeoBaby: is the smallest self-expanding intracranial stent, it is indicated for arteries with diameter as small as 1.5mm and up to 3.6mm. Thanks to its very low profile, it is delivered through .017” microcatheters (Vasco+10, Gama17D).
A wide range of Leobaby is available with 12 references: 3 diameters 2.0mm, 2.5mm, 3.0mm with lengths 12mm, 18mm, 25mm, 35mm.
Leo: with a wide range of 19 references, Leo is the gold standard stent for stent assisted coiling of wide neck aneurysms. As well, with long sizes available, it is indicated for fusiform aneurysms treatment with overlapping Leos or to build a scaffolding prior to the delivery of flow diverters (SILK Vista).
