Copernic — occlusion balloon catheter

The COPERNIC is designed for the effective occlusion of wide neck aneurysms using a low pressure compliant balloon, facilitating easy navigation due to the HYDEPEED coating.

It offers rapid balloon deflation even with 2/3 contrast and 1/3 saline, ensuring superior stability. The catheter design and use of a .012" microguidewire result in excellent push and torque. It is also CE-marked for angioplasty of vasospasms, and is compatible with DMSO. High visibility is afforded by the two radiopaque markers at both tips of the balloon.

Product Info

Scopernic: is a set including the balloon catheter Copernic as well as the compatible guidewire .012”, Hybrid1214D, necessary to occlude the tip of the balloon catheter, enabling inflation of the balloon once in position. Scopernic is recommended for the remodelling procedures for sidewall aneurysms.

Its advantages are the quick inflation and deflation time as well as the stability of the balloon thanks to the .014” core and 0.12” distal tip Hybrid1214D guidewire.

The inflated diameter of the balloon is 3mm to 5mm depending on the volume of saline and contrast injected and it’s available in lengths 10mm, 15mm, 20mm, 30mm.

Copernic RC (Rene Chapot): is a venous balloon indicated for the protection of venous sinus during injections of liquid embolics (Squid) from the arterial side.
